We have reached the end of another year and once again my thoughts turn to the products I have loved throughout the past twelve months. It’s always great to look back through the years published posts and remind yourself – believe it or not it’s so easy to forget what you wrote about!
For once it wasn’t such a touch choice for I knew instantly which ones I should include. A mixture of skincare products (no make-up this year surprisingly) which I either use personally or in the course of my work.
So which products made it into my Top Five of 2018..?
Rapid Eye Treatment – Twelve Beauty (£44.00)
Kicking off this years top five is the Rapid Eye Treatment from Twelve Beauty. A hyaluronic rich nourishing eye lotion designed to smooth fine lines and wrinkles whilst diminishing the appearance of under-eye dark circles, puffiness and signs of fatigue. This eye cream is a favourite of mine and is frequently to be found in my personal skincare line-up.

Superfruit Concentrate – Odylique (£33.00)
As I mentioned at the time of writing the original post, I can’t believe it took me as long as it did to get this facial oil on the blog. This is a staple of my personal skincare routine; a concentrated blend of super-strength organic ingredients, it is packed full of anti-oxidants and omega fatty acids. Organic Rosehip oil, Sea Buckthorn, Pomegranate and Jojoba oils which between them hydrate and nourish the skin, promote cell renewal and collagen production and protects and repair the skin.

Hydrogel Masks – Whamisa (£6.50)
These masks were an instant hit for me when I first tried them back in April and I have purchased them many times over ever since. BHID organic certified, these Hydrogel masks are a little like a sheet mask, however instead of having a piece of fabric on your face, you are applying a sheet of plant based ferment gel which holds a whole load of goodness.

Sun Prep – Hynt Beauty (£49.00)
This is a total kit saviour! A Broad Spectrum SPF moisturising cream which can be used as a make-up primer (i.e. it can be applied to the skin as a base prior to your make-up). Sun Prep gives the appearance of smoother skin; reducing the appearance of fine lines and larger pores and gives the skin a lovely velvety feel. This finish means it can also be used as a stand alone skincare product.

Hyaluroil Lip Treatment – Twelve Beauty (£28.00)
I don’t think two products by the same brand have ever ended up in my products of the year post but here we are. Twelve Beauty’s Hyaluroil Lip Treatment is the perfect antidote for winter ravaged, dehydrated, chapped and/or flaky lips. A intensive lip treatment designed to soothe, plump and provide your lips with long lasting hydration – to be frank I think it may just be the best bloody lip saviour I have ever tried.
