This changeable weather seems to be causing cause havoc on the lips. So many people who’ve been sat in my Make-up chair lately have been complaining of dry skin on their lips asking for Balm or, dare I say it Vaseline – don’t worry I haven’t gone over to the dark side but they do ask and I quickly step in with other suggestions…
I’ve noticed an increased dryness in my own lips of late and so have reached for the Balm a little more frequently than I would expect for September. my current lip balm of choice is SW. Basics Peppermint Lip Balm – I love it!
So often the simplest things are the best and this has just four ingredients: Organic Cocoa Butter, Organic Beeswax, Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil and Organic Peppermint Oil. Beautifully hydrating and super nourishing, Peppermint lip balm feels lovely on the lip. Non-sticky or waxy, it goes on easily without any dragging – it also smells a little like an After Eight mint.. ;)
I have no idea where it came from (possibly a beauty box) and having looked online, can only find it as part of a four pack and not individually. The Flight gift tin (£16.50/$12.00) looks cool and also contains Cocoa, Cinnamon and Citrus flavoured balms. I haven’t tried any of the other balms but given how much I’ve fallen for the Peppermint balm, I may just invest in the whole caboodle…
