I’m sure you are aware by now that I have an obsession with make-up brushes – I like to think a somewhat healthy one but I’m sure my other half would disagree (especially when the kitchen surface is covered with drying brushes!). This aside, here’s a super quick post about a brush I’m loving at the moment..
Sometimes you want a make-up brush which is a little bit meaty. A brush which will pack on the colour. A brush that can blend, buff and generally be a bit of an all rounder. One of the favourites in my kit at the moment is the Ecotools Full Eyeshadow brush.
Let me make this clear, this brush is absolutely no good for fine detail work but if you want a brush which will pack on colour or buff and blend a large area then this is perfect. I primarily use it for eyeshadow application but have also applied highlighter, glitter, loose powder and even alcohol based SFX make-up with it. Its one of those.
Synthetic Talon bristles mean these brushes are vegan friendly/cruelty free and PETA certified. The ferrules (the silver bit) are made from recycled aluminium, the handles from bamboo and the packaging is made from 100% tree-free fibre (i.e. 20% cotton and 80% bamboo fibres). All in all a super green brush and also great value for money!
When I purchased the three I have in my kit they were available individually however they now seem to be only available as part of the Full Power Ultimate Shade Duo (£6.99). Not that this is a major problem as the smaller brush looks equally handy and you are most certainly getting your money’s worth!
Have you tried the ECOtools brushes?
