H Is For…

Continuing with my monthly A-Z of natural and organic make-up brands, this month the letter H gets the spotlight upon it…

Who Are They? A natural beauty company who create handcrafted products with superfoods and bio-ferments.
Eco-Credentials: 99.4—100% natural content, up to 87% organic ingredients, use locally-sourced, sun-dried glacial clay, found on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Vegan, handcrafted.
The Products: A fabulous array of base, cheek, eye and lip colours – not to mention a heap of pigments. The range has been significantly extended since I tried a few samples from the range and now includes skincare and lashes.
Favourite Products: I have tried a few items from the collection and was very impressed. I loved the HDD cream (it looks great on screen) and the Cream Tints are beautiful. I’d love to try more but sadly they are based in Canada and I try to avoid International shipping where possible (and of course the customs charges…)

Who Are They? A small British mineral make-up brand with a personal story.
Eco-Credentials: 100% natural, vegan-friendly and cruelty-free. Free from bismuth oxychloride, talc, fillers, lanolin.. the list goes on.
The Products: A range of loose powder mineral foundations (most suited to fair to medium skin tones) and concealers, blushers and bronzers and eye shadows. Unlike many other mineral make-up lines, the foundations are matte (which I love) – they also stock a selection of Ecotools brushes.
Favourite Products: As I mentioned about, I really like the foundations (no hint of a shimmer) and I am also a big fan of the Pearlescent powder which can be used as a highlighter or eyeshadow and can also be dusted over the foundation to give them a little bit of sheen – it’s beautiful.

Who Are They? Founded by Meryl Marshall who after conquering Breast Cancer wanted to find makeup and skincare products which was free from carcinogens and totally skin safe and healthy.
Eco-Credentials: Formulated using organic ingredients, vegan (with the exception of the mascara which contains beeswax), no GMOs, FD&C dyes (except for in one lipstick), carmine, phthalates, bismuth oxychloride, or nanoparticles and artificial preservatives.
The Products: A collection of face, lip, cheeks and eye products in a flattering, selection of shades and with a variety of formulations. They also have their own bijoux collection of vegan brushes.
Favourite Products: I have read a lot os positive things online however have only tried the Duet Perfecting concealer so far so obviously  I can’t comment on the other products. I liked the concealer immensely but it is still at the testing stage and hasn’t made it into my kit as yet but who knows what may happen…

      Hi Matilda
I don’t actually sell products, if its something you wish to do then I suggest getting in touch with the individual companies to discuss distribution. I hope this helps.
