Top Five: Organic Cream Bronzers

hbz-ss2016-trends-makeup-bronze-hilfiger-bks-a-rs16-6206It’s always summer here” According to legendary Make-up Artist Make-up Tom Pecheux (Make-up Designer for Chanel), as he created a sun kissed sheen to faces at the Spring/Summer 2016 Balmain show last year and he isn’t wrong! Sun kissed skin is a must this summer (isn’t it always?) with Rag & Bone, Kors and Tommy Hilfiger all following suit with their takes on this seasons biggest trend.

Some time ago I put together a post on my five favourite powder bronzers and decided that it was high time I levelled the playing field with a nod towards the cream based products I favour too.

I am a massive cream product fan; they can be worked into the skin in a way that powders can’t and give a finish which is much more youthful and flattering – and in the case of bronzers, naturally sun kissed.

Here are my Top Five organic cream bronzers…

UnknownVapour Beauty Solar Translucent Bronzer (£31.00)

Calendula and Shea butter combined with an infusion of Pomegranate, Green Tea and Acai berry and solar not only delivers on caring ingredients but also on colour and results. Available in three shades; Mirage (pale gold), Simmer (rich medium bronze) and Spicy (clear dark brown).

Best suited to fair to medium skin tones, Dazzling is a lovely sheer, yet fully build-able cream bronzer. It creates a natural, post holiday glow to the skin whilst nourishing it with a combination of seed and plant oils and waxes. It is of course its available in the refills too!

Unknown-1Ilia Beauty Sway (£30.00)

Designed to illuminate (highlight in other words) or bronze depending on your skin tone, Sway is a beautiful warm shade with a  relatively subtle copper/gold pearlised finish. Sway give sheer colour which can be built up easily – it can also work as a lovely cream shadow!

Dr Hauschka Bronzing Tint (£28.50)

An oldie but a goodie and not strictly speaking a cream but this is a staple component in my pro kit. Great for adding caramel    colour to the high points of the face or creating an all-over hero tan (a tv phrase coined to refer to giving the lead male a healthy, sun kissed look).
