T Is For…

Given that we are approaching the end of the alphabet and that the numbers of brands which begin with the latter letters is diminishing, the final couple of these posts will include multiple letters. This month, T and V are coupled together – my only suggestion for U (Une Beauty) sadly ceased trading last year…

Who Are They? Founded in 2003 by namesake (and Make-up Artist) Marianne Tromborg, this Danish high street beauty brand is was based on her personal beauty philosophy: It should be easy and simple to look good – in no time.
Eco-Credentials:  There isn’t a huge amount of their website however they are Cruelty free and use many organic ingredients.
The Products: Tromborg has a good selection of products which cover the basics and a little more. The shades are pretty muted and are largely based on colours that are inspired by the earth and nature. Sadly all the bases are at the lighter end of the skin tone spectrum.
Favourite Products: I don’t have any favourite products from the range. Tromborg used to be available in the UK (I think in Debenhams) however it appears to have vanished from these shores and so other than a brief play when I was in Denmark on holiday recently, I haven’t truly tried the products.

Who Are They? Probably one of the most instantly recognisable of organic make-up brands, Vapour Beauty was founded in Taos New Mexico by Krysia Boinis and Kristine Keheley (a fine artist). They look to blur the line between skincare and makeup, suspending gorgeous color blends in concentrated, moisturizing bases bursting with antioxidant activity.
Eco-Credentials: Handcrafted using organic and natural ingredients. Free from toxic chemicals, parabens, preservatives, nanoparticles, irradiation, fillers or animal testing
The Products: A great range of face, eye, lip and cheek products with lovely formulations and textures. There range of shades is good and they are probably to first organic brand to offer base shades for darker skins.
Favourite Products: I am a massive Vapour Beauty fan – They are one of the first brands I began using regularly. My favourites are the foundations and the cheek colours.

Who Are They? Viseart Paris are a French born company who’s high performance pro make-up products are pretty clean.
Eco-Credentials: Formulated without petroleum, parabens, silicons, butylene glycol or propylene glycol, phthalates, or artificial dyes. Plant-based resources are used and the products are Cruelty free.
The Products: Viseart produce high performance pro make-up products with the focus on eyeshadow palettes and oh what beautiful things these are… The other product they offer is concealer palettes and these are designed to conceal, camouflage and contour. The quality is great and the textures are lovely!
Favourite Products: The Concealer palettes are staples of my pro kit and I have written about them on here before (here). I love the eyeshadows too; great quality in a fantastic array of shades.
