I thought I would round off Organic September with a (slightly delayed) look at the Soil Association Limited Edition Beauty Bx. I was a little late to the party on this one and only picked up my own box midway through the month however I am glad I did.
Released in time for Organic Beauty Week, this limited edition box is a collaboration between You Beauty Box and the Soil Association and contains a whole host of Soil Association certified products.
I love a beauty box. They are a great way to explore the beauty world almost without commitment; replenish stocks of old favourites, experience new brands and trial products previously untried yet not sure you wish to commit to. This box definitely ticks all these boxes for me, so…
What’s in the box!!??
Neal’s Yard Remedies Wild Rose Beauty Balm 15g
I have had a renewed love of NYR of late (not that I ever really stopped loving them, I just was using other brands) and so I was pleased to see that they had made it into the box and that Rose Balm was the inclusion! A truly iconic beauty product, Wild Rose Balm is a fabulously nourishing balm
Skin + Tonic Rose Mist 20ml
Another brand of which I am a fan, however I have yet to try the Rose Mist. Not being a person who uses toner in the traditional sense, this mist may stick around until warmer weather comes around again when I will use it to cool and refresh on hot sunny days.
Odylique Black Eyeliner Pencil
This pencil is certainly no stranger to me (I think I have four dotted around the house at present) or my little blog (my thoughts are here). A favourite in my kit, it is great for sensitive eyes and has great colour payoff.
Terre Verdi Goodoils Cleansing Oil (30ml)
A brand I’ve come across on social media but not as yet in person so I am looking forward to trying out this oil in particular as I’ve heard good things. For now all I can tell you is that is smells and feels lovely; an incredibly delicate chamomile scent in a lovely thick oil… To be continued once I’ve had a proper go…
Botanicals Radiance Facial Serum (30ml)
Another brand I have heard about but not actually gotten around to trying! Again it smells lovely but will have to keep you posted on how I get on – watch this space!
Natracare Cleansing Facial Wipes (5x sachets)
If you read Monday’s post then you will now that I am a massive fan of these wipes (if you haven’t then do so now) so these are a welcome addition to the box – they will get used up pretty quickly in my kit.
Kiki Health Food Supplements (various sachets)
I am not a supplement taker in any form. Maybe I should be, but I am not. Nothing against them, I just don’t take them – even vitamins! This aside, these are a great addition for you supplement fanatics out there and for anyone looking for an introduction to them. Each sachet comes with a recipe suggestion to get you started… I may (or may not) get around to trying these… ;)
You have to agree this is a pretty swell box!
There are still a number of these boxes available but with £75.00 worth of product packed into a £20.00 price tag, I can’t imagine they will last much longer so get your hands one whilst you can – Soil Association Limited Edition Beauty Box.
