I love discovering new brands and products – it’s all part of my green adventure! This is one of my most recent finds…
I purchased Peach Natural Lipgloss (£7.00 was £12.50) on a complete whim. I was recently shopping for some samples of the PHB foundation and BB cream when I came across it in the clearance section (hence the price). Curious to find out what it was like I clicked… The rest as they say is history.
Peach* is described as a peachy nude. On the lip the colour is very visible and it shot through with a gold shimmer which when the gloss is worn alone makes for a slightly frosted, high shine appearance but when worn over a pencil it appears much softer and gives the lip a lovely glow.
I have only ever tried one product from PHB Ethical Beauty previously (a lip pencil which I really didn’t get on with) so I was interested to see how this fared. The gloss goes on easily with no drag; I have applied it with both a brush and a (disposable) gloss applicator and it goes on well with both. It feels light on the lip and is not in the least bit sticky.
This lipgloss has already made it into my kit and I will definitely be trying more from the range in the future. Have you tried anything from PHB Ethical Beauty? What did you think?
*There is another lipgloss with the same name on the website which is not in the clearance section. This looks a little darker and is priced at £12.95 – so don’t get them confused ;)

Hi,
I really enjoyed your review. What kind of pencil/color did you use under the lipgloss to make it look softer and give the lip the lovely glow? Did you use the pencil on the entire lip or just to outline?
I have an PHB ethical beauty lipgloss in rasberry and one in mulberry and I don’t get along with them as the color looks too “extreme” and too shiny on me. But after reading the review I would really like to try this shade if it gets back in stock.
Thank you for helping out. :)
Hi
Thanks for getting in touch.
I”ve used a few different pencils under the gloss – Nude ones such as the one by Lavera. I generally fill the whole lip rather than lining as it ensures colour lasts on the lip a little longer. The glow comes from the gloss itself (rather than the pencil) as it has a slight shimmer.
I haven’t tried the other shades so I can’t comment on these I’m afraid, but this one is lovely and I’m open to trying more of them.
I hope this helps
Laura :)
Thank you. This was super helpful. I’ve ordered the lipgloss now, and I will check out the pencil from lavera as well.
Bagheera :)
Haha! Glad I could help :)
