You may remember a couple of weeks ago I shared the first in the series of short promos I worked on for Volkswagen early last year. The films highlight Volkswagen’s part in The Motability Scheme – here is the second in the series.
As with the first film the make-up was incredibly minimal. I can’t fully recall all of the products I used on the cast members however I imagine it would’ve gone something like this…
Brother
Couleur caramel Velvet Primer to mattify the skin, followed by a buffing of Kjaer Weis cream foundation where needed to even out the skintone. I would’ve then covered any blemishes and shadows using my Viseart No1 palette and more than likely added a little Nvey Eco Nourishing bronzer to the high points of his face. I would’ve then finished with Jane Iredale Beyond Matte HD powder where needed.
Sister
Child make-up for tv is incredibly minimal. After checking her face was clean and clear (you’d be surprised but the number of children who come into make-up with fruit juice [or similar] stains around their mouths), I would’ve lightly covered any blemishes and shadows using my Viseart No 1 palette and then applied a little pinky cream blush to the apples of the cheeks (probably Une Beauty Breezy Cheeks or Kjaer Weis). A touch of balm to the lips and that’s that.
