Melvita Bouquet Floral Eye Make-up Remover

P.aspx
Sometimes there is nothing like an eye make-up remover for cooling and soothing tired eyes (almost nothing). My recent spate of late nights and early starts have started to take their toll on my eyes; add in some early signs of hayfever (incredibly late in coming on this year) which as it progresses manifests itself for me in the form of incredibly itchy eyes (later accompanied by corner of the eye eczema patches just for good measure!) and they are feeling a little sorry for themselves.

I’ve been using Melvita Bouquet Floral Eye Make-up Remover recently and have been really impressed with its ability to revieve my tired and dry eyes. Soothing and cooling, it leaves my eyes feeling less agreived and the skin around them feeling nourished.

A bi-phase remover enriched with narcissus bulb extract (an antoxidant), moisturising rose floral water, skin-softening orange blossom and decongesting cornflower floral water. Bouquet Floral remover also contains castor oil to help strengthen eyelashes and protect the delicate skin around the eyes.

For those of you not in the know, bi-phase means two completely separate ingredients sitting on top of one another in the same bottle (think of the olive oil and balsamic vinegar concoction you dip your bread in at a restaurant); when you mix them together you create something else entirely. Bi-phase formulations allow multiple concentrated ingredients to be combined without the need for binders or stabilisers.

Bouquet Flora Eye Make-up Remover easily removes brow colour, eyesahdow and natural mascara. I’ve not found it particularly effective at removing waterproof mascara but as I don’t wear it and generally only use it on the very rare ocassion I have a bridal client, it’s not something I really worry about. According to the Melvita studies* 94% of people who tested it reported that it did remover waterproof products so I’ll leave you to make your own minds up in that one…

You can purchase Melvita Bi-Phase Eye Make-up Remover directly from the Melvita website or alternatively from Naturisimo for £14.00.
