Kjaer Weis Joyful

Cream blush is one of my must have products – both personally and in my kit. I think it is one of the most universally flattering products and one that if I had to choose (and I have been previously asked), would be one of the two products I couldn’t leave the house without (the other being mascara).

Recently I’ve been predominantly using cream blush on shoots and Joyful by Kjaer Weis (£41.00/£24.00) has featured heavily. Earlier this year I wrote about Joyful’s sister shade Happy; a pink blush which is a staple in my kit. I wouldn’t usually  follow so soon with a similar product from the same brand but Joyful has had such heavy use of late that I felt I must share.

Joyful is a beautiful deep coral which looks amazing on fair to medium skin tones and also darker skin which has a yellower or more golden undertone, as you can see in the make-up continuity shot from a recent shoot. In the pan it makes quite an impact but as with all Kjaer Weis blushers, it goes on fairly sheer and can be built up to give a stronger finish – I usually apply Joyful (and other cream blushers) with either a brush or my fingers.

The blusher is wonderful creamy and Packed full of nourishing ingredients such as Castor Seed Oil, Beeswax, Jojoba Seed OiL and Rosa Rubiginosa Seed Oil, it feels great on the skin and is gentle enough to be worn on the eyes and lips as well as the cheeks.

Have you tried any of the Kjaer Weis Blushers?
