I love a product that lifts the skin and perks up a tired complexion. This visit to posts past, highlights (;) a product that does just that…

Unlike many highlighters which are pearly or cream toned in colour, Light Reflect is a beautiful peach-pink shade with shot through with gold. It looks great on both light and darker toned skins and the combination of mineral pigments and Mica give a soft, radiant finish.

Applied along the cheek and brow bones, it gently highlights the face however when applied into the inner corners of the eyes, Light Reflect can really lift and brighten – I also love applying a small dot to the centre of the lid to really help open up the eye. It is also great for adding interest to the collarbone and shoulders and for accentuating a cupids bow – simple add a dot to the centre of your upper lip before applying lip colour.
I have used Light Reflect Highlighting Cream on both studio based photoshoots and during some of my broadcast work. It looks subtle on camera and can really help lift a complexion.

It’s always great to re-read and re-publish posts about products I loved and even more so when they are still products I love to this day.
Inika Light Reflect Highlighting Cream is just one of those products. It is still one of the most frequently used highlighting creams in my pro kit. It is such a pretty, flattering shade and works on most skin tones.
I have replaced it many a time and can’t see myself swapping it out for anything else for some time yet!
