Category Archives: Top Five The newest kid on the lip colour block is liquid Lipstick. In short a these tubes of colour have all the pigment you’d expect of a traditional bullet style lippy but the texture and slip of a gloss and the staying power of a stain. They are quite literally liquid lipsticks.  The arrival of Coachella means that it is safe to say that (music) festival season is well and truly here. The California based festival is generally seen as a good benchmark for working out which trends will be most popular throughout the festival season and this year is no different.  Drugstores, Chemists, Pharmacies (whichever your preferred name for them) are increasingly stocking ethical brands and so I thought I would put together a list of a few of my favourites  Blusher is big this Spring and I mean BIG! The spring 2017 catwalks were awash with extreme blusher. Although many were pretty wearable, you may not feel the desire to go all New Romantic this spring (check out Lynsey Alexander’s Glamazon designs for Kenzo) but they can certainly give food for thought… What should someone my age wear? This is one of the beauty questions I am most frequently asked, especially when working with (for want of a better phrase) normal people (as supposed to actors or presenters etc).
