Buffer Lip Scrub – BYBI

The sun may (mostly) be shining but dry, chapped lips can still be a problem. Medication, dehydration and frequent sun exposure (or simply habitual licking) can all lead to dry, flaky and potentially sore lips in the summer months so its vital to treat them with care you would during colder weather.

One product in my armoury is the Buffer Lip Scrub from BYBI (£9.00). A great addition to my pro kit it is perfect for combating any dry, flakiness on the lips of anyone in my make-up chair – flaky lips look awful on camera!

The sugar based formulation buffs the lips, removing the dry skin. The slip is all thanks to the inclusion of agave and cherry oils which hydrate the lips, whilst Sweet almond oil restores moisture. Strawberry extract and cinnamon oil both aid circulation and make it smell divine.

Its easy to use; simply apply to wet lips (although it works perfectly well in the make-up chair with them just slightly moistened) then massage in before removing. If you get some in your mouth then never fear – it tastes as fabulous as it smells!!

Looks can be deceiving and so rather than plastic, the buffer is housed in a biodegradable sugarcane tube which can be recyled and simply popped out with your recycling on dustbin day :)
