Top Five: Blue Eyeliner Pencils

Blue is THE beauty colour of 2016. At least that’s what it appears. After a small resurgence a couple of years ago, it really does seem that blue is back in a big way this year. From the catwalks of Chanel to Missoni, everyone was at it and it seems that anything goes; from vivid azures to sultry navy, bright colbolt to pastel powder blues.

If you don’t feel you can go all out with a blue lid, you can still get into the spirit by using a blue liquid or pencil liner to your upper lid.

These are my top five natural and organic blue eyeliner pencils (in varying hues)…

Benecos Natural Kajal Eyeliner in Bright Blue (£3.95)
I love Benecos pencils! Rich, creamy and super cheap! This beautiful, vibrant colbalt (ish) blue is easy to apply and wears well too.

Inika Organic Eyeliner Pencil in Peacock Blue (£13.50) (V)
Peacock is a lovely clear, light blue with a very slight light reflective sheen. Long lasting and hard to smudge, it goes on easily and without drag – it comes with a built in sharpener too!

This is a lovely blue pencil. Easy to apply and blend, the waterproof formulation is gentle on even the most sensitive eyes.
