It is a time when retailers, waste management companies and many more come together to galvanise consumers into recycling more and simply celebrate the humble art of recycling.  Today sees the start of Zero Waste Week 2023, an annual event (which this year runs from 4th-8th September) which aims to highlight the issues surrounding and encourage people all around the world to commit to reducing their landfill waste for a week – or hopefully longer! With two thirds of this waste ending up in landfill, many festivals are starting to take action.  Today marks the start of Zero Waste Week 2018, an annual event that (this year) runs from the 3rd – 7th September.
