As I have got older I have found I have definely changed the way I treat my skin. Night cream was never something is used in my thirties however now in my forties, it is a staple of my daily skincare routine. I want to go to bed slathered!!
A couple of months ago natural skincare company Suntribe kindly sent a jar of their newly launched night cream to try. Knowing that Suntribe are primarily known for their range of natural sunscreens, I was intrigued to try it out.
Suntribe’s Natural Night Cream with (to give it it’s full name) Hyaluronic Acid, Retinol and Niacinamide (£33.59) is a 100% natural night cream which is designed to leave you with a dewy, refreshed morning glow. I have been using the cream nightly for a couple of months and have really liked it. It is a departure from the super rich, heavy creams I usually favour at night but I haven’t been disappointed.
The first thing I noticed on opening the jar was how lightweight the cream was – both in the way it looked in the jar and to the touch. It seems weightless!
Despite it’s weight (or lack there of), the night cream is packed with a whole host of beneficial ingredients. Three key anti-aging big hitters: Niacinamide (a type of vitamin B3) Hyaluronic Acid, and Retinol (Vitamin A) work together to improve skin tone, reduce the appearance of fine lines & wrinkles and leave skin feeling nourished and hydrated.
The cream is also enriched with Aloe Vera Extract, Argan Oil and Shea Butter, Whilst vitamin E rich Organic Grape Seed Oil is a powerful antioxidant protecting the skin from the negative effects of environmental pollution and soothing Avocado Oil with its anti-inflammatory properties.
Suntribe night cream has been formulated with normal, sensitive, dry and mature skins in mind. Apply to the face and neck as part of your bedtime routine and massage in, leaving the skin feeling velvety and smooth. As I mentioned earlier, It is very lightweight on the skin and whilst nourishing it doesn’t have the density of many traditional night creams so is perfect for those who favour a less rich or thick formulation.
I would definitely use it again in the future however for me (and my skin) I think is is very much a night cream for the summer months.
Have you tried this night cream yet?
