There is a wave of new clean mascaras coming onto the market at the moment, which is fantastic news but they are all black. Now I like a black mascara as much as the next Make-up Artist but what about brown? Brown seems to be very overlooked these days but it is an incredibly […]

Hmmm…. That looks a really flattering colour. My lashes are fine and not that long but very dark, so I’ve always steered towards black, but this brown looks like it might look pretty and subtle against green eyes. Thanks!ReplyCancel

    • Hey Lucy
It’s a beautiful shade and I haven’t found one person it doesn’t suit as yet. It would look great with green eyes and is certainly worth the investment if you want a change from the standard black :)

A family member recently visited New York on business and as she was leaving these shores kindly offered to pick up some make-up bits and pieces for me. Ever frustrated by the number of products that are available in the US and not here, of course I kept at the chance! Knowing that on this […]

    • Hi Rachel, there are some great (and easy) ways to wear white eye make-up – depending on how brave you are feeling! You could try putting a light wash of white across the lid and combining with a bright lip or using a white eyeliner pencil just along the lash line as you would a black or brown one. A couple of ideas to get you started but if there are a few more requests I would put something together :)

  • Great white picks! I love white as a sheer wash on the lid, with an orangey tomato red on the lips. Fashion from the 90’s is one of my faves, including the tattoo chokers. ;)ReplyCancel

    • Hi Kath, thank you, I am glad you like my choices :) I am glad I wasn’t the only one with that going on. I must admit 90’s isn’t may favourite era for fashion but there isn’t really anything like a choker – although I generally favoured a strip of black velvet or lace with a press stud!
