As we are now (somehow) teetering on the edge of the festive season, I thought I would share a timely product(s) which I have had my eye on in recent weeks; the Inika Limited Edition Beauty Advent Calendar.
Each year (for possibly the past decade), I lust after various beauty advent calendars in the vain hope I may be presented with one on the first morning of December by my other half in return for the organic dark chocolate one which I (without fail) give to him. Needless to say I am still waiting.
This year it was the Inika Limited Edition Beauty Advent Calendar which I had (in all honesty, immensely optimistically) set my sights on. If I’m brutally honest with myself, at £120.00 (!!) this isn’t the calendar most likely to offset the chocolate version it would be exchanged with, but you can always dream…
It’s worth pointing out that despite the name, this isn’t actually an advent calendar, its a 12 days calendar* but when you choose to open it is entirely up to you :)
The twelve drawers contain mini and travel sized versions of Inika’s best selling skincare and makeup products. Obviously I’m not going to give you a list of exactly what is in there (I don’t want to spoil the surprise) however I can quite confidently say that I think pretty much anyone who appreciates natural and organic beauty (and those who don’t) will love it!
If you are lucky enough to receive/cave in a buy yourself this advent calendar (or any others), then let me know what you think.
* Historically this refers to the period that in Christian theology marks the span between the birth of Christ and the coming of the Magi, the three wise men, beginning on December 25th (Christmas day) and running through until the Epiphany on the 6th January. Advent however, is the period of the four weeks before Christmas.
N.B: Those of you who have been reading this little blog for a while may remember I used to have a monthly segment entitled Love… In these posts I would share a product that had caught my eye that month but I hadn’t actually tried (or even purchased) at that point. I stopped writing them as I was making changes to the blog but, I’ve decided to resurrect the idea – so here we are :)
