One of the most readily available eco brush ranges in the UK is Ecotools.
Since it’s launch, Ecotools has become highly popular amongst Make-up Artists, beauty editors and consumers alike and has gained a huge celebrity following, including actress and environmental activist Alicia Silverstone, who has put her name to a collection of beautiful make-up bags for the range.
Dedicated to creating a range that is as ecological as possible, Ecotools brushes are produced using entirely recycled and sustainable materials; the handle from bamboo, the ferrule from recycled aluminium and the vegan-friendly bristles are synthetic Taklon. In addition to this, the small amount of packaging that is used, is sourced from post-consumer recycled plastic and cardboard and are completely reusable.

Getting the right tools for the job is essential and Ecotools pretty much have it covered. With a brush for nearly every make-up need, there is a huge range to choose from; six face brushes, four eye brushes, two retractable travel brushes and a few disposable options too – not to mention the six different brush sets!
Very reasonably priced, with individuals brushes starting at around £4.99, however not all are available over here, so do please check the UK sites before you set your heart on one!
Launched in 2008, Ecotools was born out of a passion for beauty and environmental concerns. Each year Ecotools donate 1% of their annual sales to For The Planet, an alliance of businesses committed to using their resources to create a healthier planet.

Great to hear you’d recommended these brushes, as I’ve seen them before but wasn’t sure if they were genuine ‘green’ or just a token offering :)
They are the genuine article indeed. I have a number of them and they work really well :) x
I have one of their eyeshadow brushes and I love it! It feels so soft :)
