I originally scheduled this post for early January however I thought it was such a perfect product for the holiday season that I have re-scheduled and re-phrased the content a little so I could share it with you sooner and so you have time to get hold of some before the last Christmas post – if you wish.
One of a selection of eyeshadows that I was recently sent as part of a PR sample pack, Tarnished has been my go-to eyeshadow of the past few weeks and one I plan to use repeatedly over that party season (not that I have that many in the diary at the moment but here’s hoping!).
Completely on trend for this winter, Tarnished is described on the Earthnicity website as a shimmery, rich, deep brown however I personally think it as more of a deep metallic taupe, punctuated with tiny gold sparkles. For a flattering soft-sheen finish, Tarnished looks beautiful applied directly onto the lid without any undercoat but add a swipe of cream shadow or eye primer before application and you get full on, high impact, metallic, smokey colour (apologies for the adjective overload there) that would look great on any skintone.
