I love eyeshadow palettes however irritatingly there is always one shade which is less favoured and generally discarded when you finish the rest of the palette.
This Top Five is the penultimate post of World Vegan Month and I have picked out five palettes which are not only vegan friendly but are versatile and will enable you to create multiple looks – hopefully without resulting in one lonesome shade…
Here are the Top Five vegan eyeshadow palettes which have caught my eye…
Pacifica Beauty Power Of Love Palette ($20.00)
A ten shadow palette which combines matte, pearlescent and metallic finishes and the shades span neutral tones to rich copper and mermaid blue. The shadows are infused with coconut and feel velvety on the skin. As with all Pacifica shadows, the mineral pigments aren’t super strong but would definitely perk up a little over a primer.
I haven’t as yet tracked this down in the UK however when I do I will definitely be picking one up!
Lily Lolo Smoke & Mirrors Eye Palette (£19.99)
A smokey variation on the very popular Laid Bare palette (the closest the green beauty world currently has to the Urban Decay Naked palette in my mind), Smoke & Mirrors covers all the bases in terms of finish from glittery to matte and everything in between. The perfect palette to carry you through from an understated day make-up to full on evening glamour.
Avril Smoky Eyeshadow Palette (€19.00 / £17.49)
A lovely unstated smokey palette containing six uncomplicated, versatile shades. All are immensely flattering and can be built up to your desired intensity. Avril eyeshadows are beautifully velvety in texture and go on and blend like a dream – this palette is a must for smokey festive eyes surely?!
PHB Beauty 18 Piece Palette (£69.95)
Admittedly a little more than just an eyeshadow palette, this little beauty not only contains eight eyeshadows but also four blushers, four lipsticks, a bronzer and a finishing powder! A whole lot of products for your buck but this post is all about the shadows and these offer a range of options in terms of wearability with a mix of brights and muted shades – 20% of profit goes to charity too!
Neve Cosmetics Elegantissimi Eyeshadow Palette (€26.80 / £21.95)
A fabulous basics palette, the Elegantissimi contains all you need to kick start any eyeshadow collection with its array of matte and shimmery, nude and neutral tones. Neve Cosmetics are one of my go-to semi-clean brands (they are formulated without petrolatum, parabens and silicones plus are vegan) and they are a great value (and much cleaner) alternative to high street favourite Sleek Make-up – check out their punchy eyeshadow palettes!
