Although it seems to be a little intermittent at the moment, believe it or not Summer really is here and with it the eternal trend for glowing, sunkissed skin.
Timeless and effortless, bronzed skin like a red lip, never really leaves us, however each year it does change its appearance. This years incarnation of the bronzed beauty takes the form of boho chic; a natural outdoors-y wash of colour across the prominent parts of the face (cheeks, temples, browbone and nose).
Here are my Top Five Bohemian Inspired Powder Bronzers (with not too much shimmer)…
Baked Bronzing Powder from alva (£17.85)
Never having been a real fan of bronzer, this is the first that turned my head and made me actually want to wear it myself. Perfect for those who want a very light addition of colour, Baked Bronzing Powder gives a flattering, barely-there, luminous radiance to the skin and is available in three shades.
I came across this beautiful little pot of mosaic powder at a recent Pro Event and it was love at first sight. Available in two shades (Summer Day and Summer Night), it is a delicate powder that gives subtle, understated definition and a light wash of pinky or peachy toned mostly-matte colour.
*Sadly was limited edition this season so do pick some up is you happen to see some!

Nourishing Bronzer from Nvey Eco (£20.65)
A well established part of my pro kit, Nourishing Bronzer is one of the few totally matte organic bronzers available on the market. Mainly used (by me) for bronzing up (a technical term) male artists and presenters, the powder is highly pigmented and colour payoff great, so a little goes a long way…

Bronzer from Organic Glam (£35.95)
Perfect for adding a touch of a glow, this Bronzer from The Organic Pharmacy’s make-up collection gives a radiance that is both flattering and looks natural. The bronzer is available in two shades and with Mica being low down of the ingredients list, the shimmer levels are minimal – which makes for a much happier Make-up Artist!

Bronzer from Living Nature (£29.00)
Highly commended in this years Natural Health Magazine Natural Beauty Awards, this Bronzer has a slight pinky undertone which lends for a healthy glow. Like its counterparts, it has a slight sheen when viewed in the unconventionally square compact, but this adds radiance rather than shimmer the skin.

I really want to try the Alva one, many times I’ve almost bought it! I am loving Living Natures make-up & like the sound of “radiance”
Hey Amber
They are all really lovely. The alva one is lovely. Understated and flattering but utterly gorgeous!
