After what seemed like a super speedy summer we are now in September and with that comes the celebration of all things organic.
Organic September is a month-long campaign organised by the Soil Association and is designed to educate and encourage more people to try organics – ideally integrating them into everyday life.
This year has seen unprecedented protests about the environment and climate change and a new generation of individuals are showing their concern. The interest in organic food, produce, clothing and beauty has risen considerably, consequently there has never been a better time to shout about all things organic!
This September the Soil Association are campaigning for more organic food and farming; by doing this together we can slow down climate change.
Organic farming and food production not only benefits us but it has a really positive effect on the environment:
🌿 Benefiting nature
🐝 Wildlife – Organic systems are at least 50 % better for pollinating insects
🌍 The planet
🌾 And building healthy soils
By transforming our relationship to food, we can build a food and farming system that works for everyone.
